Abstract
This document is part of a series of reports which make up a scoping study on the potential of using QR codes in learning and teaching which was commissioned by the JISC. The document is intended as an introduction to the role of QR codes in education. In particular, it starts to find answers to the following key questions: • what are QR codes? • how might they be used in education? • how do I create my own QR codes? • can students engage with this technology? • where on the web might I find up to date information about QR codes being used in education?
