Abstract
We spectrally broaden 1-ps pulses from a 14.3-W, 10.6-MHz thin-disk laser in a 30.5-cm long Xe-filled HC-PCF. After compression, we achieve 9.1-W in 470-fs pulses (63% overall efficiency). No depolarization or damage is observed. 2011 OSA.
