Agent based systems are becoming popular outside the agents research community, e.g. among biologist, computer game experts or artists. Yet tools are lacking that facilitate non-expert agent developers build complicated agents for modelling and systems. As a part of our own research programmes which require agents we have been developing such tools. In this paper, we re- view the progress made, highlighting their usability. Examples of agents developed in these tools will be also given, with an emphasis on intelligent virtual combat agents situated in Unreal Tournament.
