Abstract
Mid-infrared methane sensing is demonstrated using a photonic bandgap fiber-based gas cell and broadband idler pulses from a periodically-poled lithium niobate femtosecond optical parametric oscillator as the light source for Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
