Abstract
The title compound, [AuCl2(C10H8N2)]NO3, is layered parallel to ((1) over bar 01) by pi-pi stacking. The individual {(1) over bar 01} layers are held together by extensive C-H...O and C-H...Cl hydrogen bonding.
